Nintendo has released a video showcasing just how lean it has made its Wii U console, demonstrating the time it takes to load up the main console menu following a system update that's due to go live in April.
Instead of taking over 20 seconds to transition from a game to the Wii U Menu, the new update will strip the process down to a mere 6 seconds. The sole purpose of the system update is to fix problematic load times on the console's OS, an issue that users have been vocal about since the platform's launch.
