The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is a huge addition to the epic massively multiplayer online world from some of the modern masters of the RPG genre at Bethesda.
The game takes Elder Scrolls fans back to the legendary island of Vvardenfell, setting for the iconic RPG The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Players can get a new perspective on key points of interest from the classic game, seeing them 700 years before the events of The Elder Scrolls III. It amounts to a huge new zone with upwards of 30 hours of main story content, a new Trial, the new class of Warden and a new three-team, 4v4v4 PvP mode called Battlegrounds.
Morrowind is a great jumping in point for new players. You can jump right in and create a character without having to complete all the previous Elder Scrolls Online content. That said, this expansion does include all the game's previous content so newcomers have instant access to hundred's of hours of adventure!
Existing players are being looked after too, of course. Veterans will be able to upgrade immediately and start exploring Vvardenfell. Thanks to 2016's One Tamriel update, they'll be able to find level-appropriate content from the outset, or they can choose to create a new character and start afresh. Likewise, because The Elder Scrolls Online requires no subscription, lapsed players can simply reinstall the game, log in and start exploring this huge new expansion!
