Summary
Many games that cover historical wars tend to look at a specific event, or a string of battles leading to an epic climax. Warriors: Legends of Troy goes a step further than that by covering the entire length of the 10-year Trojan War. Just what you would expect from the creators of the Dynasty Warriors series.
In this legendary era of conflict, men and gods fought side by side for eternal glory – or so they say. But this belief that humanity walked with deities for power and peace is an enchanting one, that helped build the influential mythology and literature that we are fond of today. Using these resources, Warriors: Legends of Troy will provide the intense feeling of being right there in the centre of combat.
You can take control of a whole range of characters in this tactical action game, including Achilles and Odysseus, and challenge the army of soldiers and larger-than-life heroes that stand in the way of victory. If you're not careful, even the gods from above will get involved, sending all kinds of mythical beasts that can easily take you down.
The action can be played alone, or with a four-player online co-op mode that works either competitively or co-operatively. Additional online features include video chat to keep each other up to speed on tactics and other Trojan history, along with leaderboards to see who is the greatest warrior alive.
