Summary

Line Rider is the student project that turned into a massive Internet success as a free to play Flash game. It's now available for PC and Nintendo consoles as Line Rider Freestyle, in a format that improves the graphics and tweaks the gameplay. The game combines sledding, drawing and puzzling into one original and addictive video game. Players take on the part of Bosh, who is out to confound the sled stealing Chaz by racing through 40 puzzle-tracks created by Line Rider master TechDawg. There are mandatory and bonus coins to collect as you descend the track.

When you're through with the provided tracks, users can harness their own creativity to build crazy bone-crunching downhill levels - creating an endless number of challenging and entertaining sled runs. Creating levels has never been easier - just draw on screen and then send your character racing (and crashing) down what you've drawn. Use special line types to make your level more challenging - some lines will speed the character up, some slow him down. If the results are not exactly what you expected (or wanted) just erase the problem area and draw some more. Creating levels can be tricky, even a small bump in your line can have dramatic effects on Bosh's progress, especially when he is travelling fast.
