NHL 2K7 for the Xbox is 2006's outing in 2K's video game series and is a must-buy for fans of the sport or Ice Hockey videogames. Naturally, this version of the NHL 2K7 series is the most extensive to date.
Improvements have been made to individual player and team AI, making NHL 2K7 play more like real-life Ice Hockey. There is also an all-new dynamic camera that brings you closer to the game than ever before called Action Cam. Another new feature of the game is ProControl. This is where the right analog controls have been expanded to bring a far deeper level of action to the ice with improved passing and shooting mechanics.
A new chemistry system has been introduced to NHL 2K7. The system mirrors today's NHL as division rivalries heat up and home advantage really does make a difference. Both factors make the game by far the most realistic in the series. Audio Intuition is another feature which adds realism to proceedings. On-ice communication (it must be said, mostly shouting) plays a key role in every game, as coaches and players call out offensive opportunities and critical defensive situations.
