You got it, it's V Rally and it's acquired a new suffix for its appearance on the Nintendo 64. Known on this platform as V Rally Edition 99, the game will be instantly familiar to those who have played it or seen it in action in the previous PlayStation or Dreamcast versions. There are eight worldwide locations on offer and eleven official World Rally Championship cars are available for your racing pleasure, including Subaru, Skoda and Ford. All the intuitive car handling and race physics from the Sony and Sega versions are present…and then some! Getting to grips with the handling is tricky enough without the difficulty of dealing with the weirdly designed N64 controller placing extra demands on gamers' no doubt crooked hands.

Once settled into your bucket seat, you have the opportunity to set up your chosen car to suit your needs by modifying the gearbox and suspension, for example. The weather can be changeable too, so make sure you take notice of the forecast. You can choose one of four different racing views: behind the wheel, first-person, and two different third-person perspectives.
