You ae mistaken, my friend. THIS is the difinitive Worms game. Go EA!!
I know we're all trying to be "old school" and "hardcore" here, but as any educated gamer knows Worms 2 for the PC was by far the best in the series. It's all about the old woman and her exploding granny panties.
As for this Amiga funny business, I had a friend who had one, does that count. All I had was a Commodore 64 connected to my tv via C64 offical switch. Man it had such sweet fuzzy graphics.
but as any educated gamer knows Worms 2 for the PC was by far the best in the series.
I don't know about educated gamers. But as the guy who designed the Worms Logo, and was originally producer of the game... I think DC was the definitive version.

The exploding granny was introduced in Director's Cut, as was the Concrete Donkey and the Bat Rope.
My argument for Director's Cut being the best version is that DC had all the neat weapons, but didn't have the hideous cartoony backdrops and characters introduced in Worms 2.
Did the Bar Rope ever see action again after DC? I'm not sure it did...

Oh I was think that you were referring to the Dreamcast version. My blunder I suppose. You may be right. I'll have to play it.
Hmmm, given that Config worked at Team17 in the old days too, I'll bet he IS right.
Damn, well it is an opinion you know. Just about every statement is if you look at it the right way. Except for this statement, it is impervious to other ways of looking at it for it has tritanium armor and a minigun mounted on it's rear preposition.
But working for Team17, damn, he's get a few more notches on the respect bar in my book.
Let's not forget that DoctorDee and Tyrion also worked at T17 - we're all Teamsters!
And we all seem to agree that Worms: The Director's Cut is the best version. Therefore it's a FACT!
I guess it's time to call a close to our favorite thread. We've all determined that all of the Spong staff used to work at Team17, and we thank (and envy) them for that.
